Elijah Berle's Vans Pro model shoe comes with Vans WaffleControl technology. With a reduction in the layers between your foot and the board, this deconstructed cupsole gives you superior boardfeel and responsiveness, while remaining grippy with Vans original waffle formula. A rubber toe cap adds extra durability and flick, while a layer of Duracap under the toe upper will ensure that these shoes last. The LuxLiner fit molds to the shape of your foot and makes it easy to slip these on and off.

Sole

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Details

Original Waffle Outsole - Made with soles twice as thick so they would wear longer, this original formula combines durability with flexy board-feel to keep all the Vans' fans happy.

WaffleControl Construction - Vans has further advanced it's WaffleCup construction by decreasing the number of individual parts separating the foot from the board. Vans' WaffleControl technology delivers next-level board control, responsiveness, and built-in cushioning.

LuxLiner Bootie Construction - This advanced liner construction improves the comfort and fit by enabling the shoe to conform and move with the shape of the foot. This free-floating liner is an extension of the tongue. It's hidden under the front surface of the shoe and is able to move independently from the outer shell.

This system increases airflow, breathability and reduces any chance of hot spots or pinching in the toe box.

Duracap - Developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team; reinforcement is provided through rubber underlays in the toebox and ollie-area for lasting durability to save you time and money.
