Kyle Walker's pro model shoes blend the responsive flexibility of a classic vulcanized sole with the impact support of a cupsole thanks to Vans' Wafflecup Construction. The cushy footbed offers additional impact protection needed for gaps and stairsets. Vans also added Duracap reinforced suede throughout the upper for extra abrasion resistance. Sole

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Original Waffle Outsole - Made with soles twice as thick so they would wear longer, this original formula combines durability with flexy board-feel to keep all the Vans' fans happy.

Wafflecup™ Construction - A vulcanized cupsole? YES. This revolutionary construction offers skaters the support of a cupsole with the board feel of a vulcanized shoe.
